As they progress toward the “center of the Earth,” the difficulty and engagement increase through multi-question steps and creative tasks. The experience blends competition, cooperation, and education, fostering awareness of climate change and responsible action in a calm, respectful, and purpose-driven atmosphere.

Mobility and Urban Sports in Cities: Designing Spaces that Move Us. This panel will explore how cities can inspire healthier, more active lifestyles for all from accessible walking routes to vibrant public spaces that encourage movement, play, and connection. The discussion will address the question: “How Can Our City Keep Us Moving?”, looking at the intersection of health, inclusion, and sustainable urban mobility. Urban Design Lab Breakouts: Urban Sports & Active Lifestyles for All Participants will co-design ideas for making urban environments more conducive to active lifestyles, with a focus on youth and community participation. Through guided breakout sessions, participants will explore creative solutions from sport-friendly public spaces to inclusive walking and cycling routes that promote physical activity, social interaction, and environmental sustainability. Youth Climate Policy Hackathon – Drafting the Future We Want A rapid-fire policy lab where participants map out climate policy challenges and propose youth-driven solutions. Small groups tackle topics (e.g. renewable energy policy, green jobs legislation, climate justice) and draft recommendations or “youth demands” for each. The session concludes with each group presenting one key policy idea or ask. These outputs will inform a Youth Climate Declaration and a policy brief to be presented at closing, representing the joint voice of youth at SEYS 2025.
